15 Years with This Guy

Fifteen years ago today I picked up Pablo, eight weeks old, from breeders in Connecticut and brought him home. He has brought so much love and joy into my life, and I hope I have brought some into his.

The Begging Mat

With his back leg problems Pablo has a hard time navigating slippery wood floors. Since our dining table is on wood this makes mealtimes especially stressful–for both Pablo and us. Pablo slips and slides, falls down, and then can’t get back up. Our solution was to put our doormat next to the table so that Pablo can beg from there. We call it the begging mat. What can I say,  it works for us.
