All in all 2014 has been a pretty good year, and I’ll be sad to see it go. The year started on a good note when Pablo’s surgery for tooth extractions went well. Although he’s practically toothless, it hasn’t slowed him down a bit. He’s the same greedy pug he always was! One downside of getting older, though, is that Pablo is now almost completely deaf. He used to bark whenever my phone rang (the ringtone is of a barking dog), but now he stays silent. Luckily, I taught him ASL a while back so he understands a few simple gestures: “Sit” and “All gone.” It doesn’t sound like much, but, hey, that’s pretty much all he knew when he could hear!
Pablo’s resolutions for the new year? Same as mine: Enjoy the time you have left to the fullest!
